LA Food Arts, previously known as Once Upon a Party, came to VeloWare ready for rebranding and to launch a web presence. The project began with hospitality research and discovery, moved into company name development, and then on to logo design. Key branding components were honed for LA Food Arts, and the site was designed with good taste and clean design in mind. The site experience needed to project 5-star catering services with a bit of unique flair.

Key features of the site build were a sample menu and a complex listing of catering services and styles. Of course, image presentation would be crucial. The site was designed to present image galleries, both of available offerings and for a look at actual catering events. Later, a blog component was implemented so the client could begin e-publishing favorite recipes, and tips and tricks, helping further brand LA Food Arts as an authority in the catering industry.

Working with VeloWare, LA Food Arts enjoyed an intensive branding experience sensitive to their pace and available time commitment. Site images were obtained both through original photography shoots and client submission. A Facebook page was built and administrative support was provided to the client. Research was performed on competitor strategy. These tactics put VeloWare in a position to advise LA Food Arts on marketing strategy and how best to capitalize on available channels.

A fresh addition to the VeloWare portfolio, LA Food Arts enjoys a bright color scheme, unique vertical menuing system, and clean layout. Explore the site here.

A wedding website can be all design, or something quite personal, or in Veloware’s case, both. Veloware builds beautiful custom websites that have the technology and options to make your website very personal, charming the eye, evoking the combined style-personality of the couple, and getting things done, too.

Using the CMS (the content management system), the client had unlimited opportunity to publish pages that instructed, requested, informed and laid down the legends of the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. In this case, they were certainly on a roll, but perhaps their eyes were bigger than their stomachs with regard to how much content they wanted to publish before the wedding. [Recommendation: start a wedding website prior to the last two months before the wedding – you will run out of time!]

The bride’s eyes widened as she exclaimed, “I can post however much I want??” Why yes, oh yes.

“And it’s that easy??” Easy as bridal pie.

MarucchiWedding.com features a flash driven randomizer on the home page header presenting large format images combining pictures of the actual couple, as well as high quality stock images of wedding/bridal photography. The stock images came with the website package and were inspired by the couple’s wedding motifs, style elements and location. And the client can add additional images!

The Marucchi’s went green by not including RSVP cards in their physical invitation mailings. Instead MarucchiWedding.com collected the RSVPs for them and delivered each one to their email inboxes.

Instead of simply linking to their gift registry website – the registry website appears in a window within MarucchiWedding.com, maintaining the ‘branding’ of the client’s website while the visitor spends time in a associate web environment. For a wedding website, this is simply something cool; for a sales or marketing website, keeping your site visitors within your website while they browse another, can be essential.

Instructing friends and family to register for the RSS feed, any posts to MarucchiWedding.com, such as updates to the celebration events, changes to the dress code, or announcing surveys on choosing the cake flavors – all of these were delivered automatically to the RSS subscribers.

Ultimately, a wedding website architected by Veloware is what you make of it – but first, it is inspired by the couple, and along the way there are many tools at their disposal that come standard with the site package, an incredible wedding coordination machine.

P.S. Content Development and Management Services are also available with Veloware – our staff are experienced in wedding site-content development, as well as wedding coordination and photography.

This athletic entertainer and personality needed a site which consolidates his publicity and public web presence. Matt Evers.com nurtures interest in Matt Evers-the-celebrity/personality by providing a one-stop-shop for fans to catch the very latest of what’s up with Matt Evers.

Matt and his assistants post articles with corresponding images – linking to articles and videos from other agents, or even the video itself for viewing within MattEvers.com – while previews to these articles colorfully update the home page.

The home page opens with a video feed viewer with the latest broadcast appearances and as the visitor scrolls down to explore more content treasures, they’ll find a flash driven rotating photo gallery on the side bar with images from Matt’s portfolios deeper within the site.

With a side bar-located Twitter account feed, which he posts to daily during production periods, updates to those in-the-know are literally up-to-the minute.

A preview feed widget featuring the latest posts from Facebook – Matt Evers’ Fan Page – cross-pollinates interest with the popular social networking platform.

Social Networking Icons link to his MySpace page, his YouTube channel, and to Facebook – both his fan page, as well as a group set up by a dedicated fan to encourage support for a win in his latest ongoing contest.

This site architecture, when regularly maintained as this one is, delivers the client’s personality to the fans, cultivating and maintaining ongoing interest – all while being HIGHLY search engine friendly.
